But the actress snapped back at the photographer, saying, "Smile? You Smile!"
Millie Bobby Browndoesn't need any advice on the red carpet.
During the 21-year-old actress' appearance at theStranger Thingsseason 5 premiere in London on Thursday, Nov. 13, Brown was posing in a design from Ashi Studio's fall 2025 couture collection when a photographer yelled out to her, "Smile!"
"Smile? You Smile!," the Netflix star quickly retorted while pointing to the group of photographers.
She then promptly turned away from the camera and exited the carpet. Photos of her exit documented the actress's visible displeasure after hearing the comment.
At the event, Brown wore a black corset covered in flowy black tulle, which was cinched at her hips, draping down her legs and transitioning into a long train.
She accessorized with a pair of Aldo pumps featuring a customized detail that read "011," seemingly in reference to herStranger Thingscharacter.

Over the past week, Brown and herStranger Thingscostars have kicked off the press tour for the final season of the series. At the Los Angeles premiere on Nov. 6, she was joined by her husband,Jake Bongiovi.
There, Bongiovi, 23, opted for a crimson velvet suit with a white shirt and black tie. Brown wore a figure-hugging black lace gown with feather details by Rodarte, which was topped off with Aldo shoes and Chopard jewelry. She joked toVarietythat she was wearing black "for the funeral of the show."
"This dress kind of embodies the darkness of the show this season," she told the outlet. "I'm really excited for everyone to see how dark the season gets."
Brown made an outfit change inside the event. She was later photographed alongside Bongiovi while wearing a maroon corset with ivory lace trim and a matching mini skirt.

In a conversation with PEOPLE at the L.A. premiere, shedetailed a few of her biggest takeawaysfrom her decade in the fictional Hawkins, Ind.
She said that "probably the most amazing part about" being involved with the show since its 2016 debut is how she built a family with her cast and crew.
"It's taught me a lot of lessons about being a professional person, about being an actor, about being a friend," she added. "It's given me the most amazing people in my life to call up when I need them most, and that's my family."
"I'm so honored and blessed to have been a part of this show for so many years, and for my childhood to have been recorded," Brown said. "It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity."

Stranger ThingsSeason 5, Volume 1 premieres on Nov. 26 at 8 p.m. ET on Netflix, followed by Volume 2 on Dec. 25, and the finale on Dec. 31.
