The "Achy Breaky Heart" singer, 64, and theAustin Powersactress, 60, made their CMA Awards debut as a couple in Nashville on Wednesday night. Cyrus wore a black suit and cowboy hat, while Hurley donned a sparkling red gown
"Our first date in Nashville. Actually in the US!" Cyruswroteon Instagram. "So grateful for tonight."
Cyrus also shared a selfie of himself with theBedazzledstar on his Instagram Stories that was seemingly taken in a car on the way to the event.

The singer previouslyexpressed his excitementto attend the event with Hurley in an Instagram post on Tuesday.
"We bonded over our love of all things country, especially country music!!!" he wrote. "She turned me onto the hit showNashvilleand we watched it all summer. Heading downtown to the sights and sounds of the heart of Music City feels like our first date. So excited and honored to be a part of such a special night... and share it with such a special girl."

"We did very few scenes together, but the couple times we were in the same scene, there was a chemistry," Cyrus said in April. "We just laughed, and it was at a time I wasn't laughing a lot, and I found it the oddest thing."
The two entertainers didn't keep in touch after production wrapped, and Cyrus experienced a bit of a rocky period in subsequent years. Later in 2022,he divorcedTish Cyrus, his wife of 29 years. Shortly thereafter, he began a relationship with Australian singer Firerose and married her in October 2023 beforedivorcing acrimoniouslyseven months later.
The singer also came under fire fora rocky performancecommemoratingDonald Trump's inauguration in January and received further attention after his son,Trace, wrote on social mediathat the Cyrus siblings were concerned for their father's well-being.
Cyrus said that in the midst of that difficult period, "a friend reached out," and it turned out to be Hurley.
"I didn't even know the number, and it's like, 'Hey, it looks like life might be a little bit tough, and just wanted you to know I'm in your corner,'" he said. "'You've got a friend in your corner.'"

The coupleannounced their relationshipin anInstagram postin April. Since going public with their romance, Cyrus and Hurley have attended several events together, including a fundraiser for the Royal Academy of Dance in London and the premiere of her reality game show,The Inheritance, also in London. They made their red carpet debut in May, attending the opening of the Orizzonti | Rosso exhibition in Rome.
Hurley also wrote that she's "in love" in apostcelebrating her 60th birthday in June, prompting Cyrus to comment "I love you" on Instagram.
