Ariana Grande was attacked by a fan at the Singapore premiere of her film Wicked: For Good on Thursday, Nov. 13
A man rushed the carpet, grabbing Grande around the shoulders, and her costar Cynthia Erivo quickly jumped into action, pushing the man away
The attacker was later identified as Johnson Wen, who goes by Pyjama Man, who has crashed several celebrity events

In multiple videos captured from a variety of angles, Grande, who plays Glinda in the highly anticipated film, was seen walking the yellow brick road carpet at Universal Studios Singapore alongside costarsMichelle Yeoh,Cynthia ErivoandJeff Goldblum, when a man in a white shirt and shorts sprinted at her, turning and grabbing her.
The man, who had long black hair with dyed blue streaks, put his arm around Grande, pulling her close to him as she attempted to get away.

Immediately, Erivo, who plays Elphaba in the film, lunged toward the altercation, placing herself between Grande and the man and appearing to shout at him. Members of security then stepped in and moved the man away from Grande.
Grande looked visibly shaken by the incident, letting out deep breaths as Erivo and Yeoh comforted her.
Fans quickly identified the red carpet crasher as Johnson Wen, who goes by "Pyjama Man" online. Wen posted his own video of the incident onInstagram, writing, "Dear Ariana Grande Thank You for letting me Jump on the Yellow Carpet with You ❤️."
Wen is known for crashing celebrity events and making headlines. In June, he jumped on stage with a shocked-looking Katy Perry, and in August, he crashed The Weeknd's show before security rushed him off stage.

Grande has previously spoken about her struggles with PTSD in the wake of the2017 bombing of her Manchester concert, which left 22 people dead.
"Yeah, it's a real thing. I know those families and my fans, and everyone there experienced a tremendous amount of it as well," Grande toldBritish Voguein 2018. "It's hard to talk about because so many people have suffered such severe, tremendous loss … I feel like I shouldn't even be talking about my own experience – like I shouldn't even say anything. I don't think I'll ever know how to talk about it and not cry."
In the same interview, she opened up about her ongoing struggles with anxiety.
"I think a lot of people have anxiety, especially right now … My anxiety has anxiety," she said. "I've always had anxiety. I've never really spoken about it because I thought everyone had it, but when I got home from tour [in September 2017] it was the most severe I think it's ever been."
