Every Sunday evening and Monday morning this November and December, we’re sure to be talking about what the cast of New York’s finest stage actors has gotten up to on The Gilded Age . Julian Fellowes’ American counterpart to Downtown Abbey loves to put its socialites and social climbers through the wringer. Season 4 added Taylor Trensch, James Scully, Dennis Haysbert, Maggie Kuntz, Neal Huff, and Bonnie Milligan to the ensemble cast. This season, The Gilded Age has also promoted Jordan Donica, who plays Peggy’s new fiancé Dr. Kirkland, and Ashlie Atkinson, who plays a real socialite named Mamie Fish, to series regulars. The season 4 premiere is November 1, 2026.
This is a classic HBO water cooler series, meaning that new episodes will be on the cable network and on the app every Sunday at 9 p.m. EST.
The season will have eight episodes total, similar to all previous seasons except for the first one, which had nine. This means that The Gilded Age season 4 finale will air on December 20, right in the middle of the holiday season.
